The foolish life is characterized by a lack of awareness.

It is a life that moves on autopilot, without depth or purpose.

It is a term to describe the emptiness or futility we feel when we lose connection with our deepest values.

The foolish life is spent on the surface of things.

Surface life is self-centered.

The antidote to superficiality is spirituality.

What is spirituality? That which transcends us. That which transcends the inevitable frustrations of life, the bitterness, the injustice and is not trapped in daily needs. Spirituality is kindness, empathy, gratitude, love for life, giving.

When we can see the depth of things and not just stand on the surface.

When we can discern inner beauty, while the image is unattractive.

All those things that make us more human, to be beautiful people, to rejoice in the expansion that love gives.

Spirituality is practiced in relationship, there is no spirituality in a vacuum.

 Empathy cultivates reality.

We approach spirituality, not with definitions and theoretical descriptions, but through the fruits of spirituality which are joy, humility, love, peace, trust in life and in man.
