BRIEF VITAE
Lida Michailidou is a social worker-psychotherapist, a graduate of the Department of Social Work of the School of Health and Welfare of Athens and holder of the postgraduate title Experto Universitario: Systemic model-Family Treatment of Complutense University of Madrid. She has also completed her training at the Institute “Αntistixi” in existential systemic psychotherapy, where for two years she has been a co-therapist in a group of mothers. In Spain she has worked at the Anticancer Society of Madrid and the social benefits centre of Tetuan, Madrid city Hall, with groups of teenagers. In Greece she worked in a mental patient internship of the non-governmental organization “Klimaka”, at the Hantzikonsta’s boarding school and she was an external collaborator of the Department of Adolescents of the Pediatric Mental Health center of EOPYY. She has also collaborated as a family therapist in speech therapy centers in Thebes and Athens. In recent years she has been working as a psychotherapist for adults, couples and families in Antistixi and her private office, while also making speeches aimed at parents in schools, kindergartens and cultural institutions.
