Elektra Handanou is a graduate of the Law Department of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) and the Department of Social
Work of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEI). She continued her postgraduate training in Existential Systemic Psychotherapy at the Institute
"Counterpoint".
As a Social Worker she has worked in various Non-Governmental Organizations, such as "Hellenic Red Cross", "Moirazoami" and "SOS Children's Villages
of Greece". In particular, in the "SOS Children's Villages of Greece" he worked in the program "Hosting for Babies - SOS Foster Families" participating in the
evaluation team of prospective foster couples and undertaking the supervision & counseling of foster families.
In 2020, after a special training, he joined the "Special List of Certified Social Workers of the Greek Ministry of Education and Culture" for matters of adoption. Recently, she has been working as a psychotherapist at "Antistixis" and in a private space.
