Maria Gouzioti is a Psychologist – Existential Systemic Psychotherapist. She is married, mother of two children and lives and works in Athens. Graduated in 2003 from the Department of Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, she has done her personal therapy and retraining in Existential Systemic Psychotherapy at the Educational and Therapeutic Institute ‘Antistixi’ and is a certified member of the Hellenic Society of Systemic Therapy. She has worked in public schools at all levels for many years, providing counseling to students, parents and teachers, both at individual and group levels. In addition, she has worked as a psychologist in the pediatric clinic 'IASO Children's', in the Support and Information Center for vulnerable social groups, as well as in local social inclusion actions (TOPEKO). She has also been a co-therapist in Mothers' Groups and has delivered a number of lectures and workshops on promoting mental health in schools and cultural institutions. While studying, she completed her internship at the Pediatric Psychiatric Hospital of Attica – Special Autistic Therapeutic Unit, where she continued her work voluntarily and at the end of her education, in the Attica Chronic Disease Clinic and in the Psychiatric Department of Trikala General Hospital. She currently works with adolescents, adults, couples and families in her private space and at the Educational and Therapeutic Institute ‘Antistixi’. She participates in workshops, conferences and constantly seizes opportunities for continuing education and self-improvement as a professional.

Today he works psychotherapeutically with teenagers, adults, couples and
families in her private space and in the Educational and Therapeutic
Antistixis Institute.
