Fragmentation of face, experiences, relationships
Vravrona 2016
The concept of facial fragmentation leads us to first explore the conflicts of our inner world. It is a
integral part of human life, as human actions are not predetermined, on the contrary, there is freedom of choice. Therefore, internal conflicts are in a way the price of human freedom. Failure to resolve conflicts leads to fragmentation. We experience fragmentation in the inability to connect experiences and emotions, in the inability to process and learn from our experience.
We experience fragmentation in relationships, when others don't interest us, when we simply seek to mirror ourselves, broken pieces.
Our relationships become mirrors, as the true face of others is lost.
We are called as therapists to make connections, to bring unconscious conflicts to the surface and make them conscious.
We are called as therapists to strengthen wholeness.
