ABSTRACT : The existential approach poses the important questions of existence, as man struggles in the name of personal freedom to conquer the uniqueness of his person. The systemic view allows viewing the whole system, thus treating the family as a group of persons in comprehensive interaction with each other. Under this double prism, depression cannot be determined unilaterally as a biochemical alteration, but also as a result of dysfunctional personal and family processes. In addition, highlighting the wealth, power and health that exists in every living system becomes a bet for the specialist, hope and life prospect for the family.
